4 Things Universal Is Dying To Do To The Hulk
Our friends at Parkscope just reported that permits have been filed for project 611 at the Incredible Hulk Coaster. The permits include demolition permits, and a permit to construct a new trailer behind the Hulk. Note, the changes listed below are just rumors until confirmed by Universal Orlando Resort.
-A New Queue-
One of the worst parts of the Incredible Hulk attraction is the horrific queue. The queue is outdated, ugly, smelly and boring. The demolition permits suggest that the queue will be gutted, and a new queue with spectacular theming will be brought in to replace it.
-New Technology-
The Hulk was built in 1999, and the tech used to run the attraction has not seen many updates since it was first built. Teebin on Orlando United said to expect to see new computer systems installed, along with refreshed ride technology such as the brakes and the launch tires. (Photo from Theme Park Review)
-New Trains-

-Permanent Metal Detectors-
We all know about Universal Orlando’s loose article policy, and how they installed temporary metal detectors at the Hulk to attempt to prevent loose articles from being brought on the ride.
