The Walt Disney Family Museum is a hidden gem in San Francisco. The museum is located in a georgous neighborhood with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The inside of the museum is FILLED with Walt Disney and Disneyland artifacts! Lets take a look!
The first room that you’re greeted with inside of the museum is about the early life of Walt Disney. It features one of the cars that resembles what he drove in the Red Cross, and the room also tells you about his childhood and his family.
The next room is about when Walt first got into movies and cartoons
You’re then shown how animation works, and how many frames are required to make a short film!
Also inside of that room they have very old Mickey Mouse merchandise
Between the room above and the Disneyland room is a nice walkway that has a fantastic view of the Golden Gate Bridge!
The best room of them all… Disneyland.
Inside of this room you will learn about Walt’s inspirations for Disneyland. You’ll see Walt’s small train that was called the Lilly Belle.
