Halloween Horror Nights 25
Tonight we had the chance to check out the team member preview of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights 25. This year Jack The Clown is the event icon, and he’s back to raise hell!
Very crowded at the preview!
HHN 25 is now open!
First house of the night was 25 Years Of Monsters & Mayhem Overall, the house was good but can use some improvement. Mix of different years but it is all over the place. Grade- B The first scarezone when you walk into the park is Scary Tales- Steampunk
Heads up… There might just be a little surprise at the end of the house
Moving into the Psychotherapy scarezone, there’s a burning gazebo to welcome you
I then went and saw the Carnage Returns show. Let me tell you, this show is great. Very nasty and gory! Jack Is Back!
The Jack show ends with the “Big Ass Saw” They had plenty of cool 25th anniversary projections around the park The sets in the Icons scarezone were very well done Moving on to Asylum In Wonderland… This was a typical 3D house, nothing too special. C+ I then walked over to Run: Blood, Sweat & Fears. From the queue I could see the BART Train from the former Disaster! Attraction The entrance of Run. RUN has potential, but lacked any good scares tonight. Keep an eye on this one though…could be great.
Following Run, I swung by American Werewolf in London. Good house, like the original one, the new and improved puppets are great. Now it’s time for Bill & Ted! There was plenty of crowding outside of the show. No photos are allowed during the show, but I’ll tell you that if you’re a Back To The Future fan, this show is for you! We took one final walk towards the exit through the Evil Roots & Icons scarezones.
That wraps up our first night of touring Halloween Horror Nights 25. We will be back at the event on opening night!
