Review- ICE! At Gaylord Palms

Christmas at Gaylord Palms 2016 is an event that you don’t want to miss! This event has plenty of holiday themed activities to offer- a Christmas tree dancing light show, a stunning Cirque show, snow tubing, snowball throwing, and of course the main event… ICE!

Tree Lighting Show
The tree lighting show is something you do not want to miss. There are thousands of dancing lights, perfectly choreographed to great Christmas soundtracks. I highly suggest watching this show, and give it a 5/5 rating.

Cirque Dreams
This show returned to Christmas At Gaylord Palms for a second year in a row. Every time you go to watch this show, you’ll see a different performance featuring different acts. The show is entertaining, but it doesn’t really give off the Christmas feel. It involves some fun guest interaction and amazing circus style acts. It is definitely very unique and the performers are extremely talented. The storyline is very confusing and odd. This show is not a “must see”, but it wouldn’t hurt to watch. Overall rating 3.5/5.

The Alpine Village & ICE!
The Alpine Village is the area that houses the snow tubing, snowball throwing and ICE! This area is very enjoyable, and we highly suggest that you visit it this holiday season. The area is Christmas themed and offers Krispy Kreme Donuts and Hot Chocolate for purchase. The snow tubing is very fun! Next to the snow tubing they also have a snowball throwing area, similar to a shooting gallery but instead of guns, you use snowballs!

Moving into the ICE area, you will want to wear pants and bring some gloves. The attraction area is kept at a low temperature of 9°, and after a few minutes it’ll start to feel like it. The ice sculptures are STUNNING. The even took on A Charlie Brown Christmas theme, so you’ll see your favorite characters such as Snoopy and Linus. There are some fun ice slides to ride and even an ice bar! This is one Orlando attraction that you do not want to miss. Overall rating is a 5/5 for ICE! and the Alpine Village.
