Today Cafe Taking Shape @ Universal Studios Florida

The Today Cafe restaurant is taking shape at the entrance to Universal Studios Florida. The eatery is replacing the Beverly Hills Boulangerie and will feature cups of coffee and bites to eat.

San Francisco Facade Rehab

Over in the San Francisco section of the park a new awning was added to the upper deck of Lombards Seafood Grille. The old awning was destroyed by a hurricane quite some time ago. Also, refurbishment is going on at the Pier 41 facade.

E.T. Adventure Modifications

The E.T. Adventure has received a new wait time sign at it’s entrance. They have also modified the unloading procedure due to a recent incident that occurred at the attraction.

Jurassic Park Construction

Land clearing is well underway in the Jurassic Park section of Islands of Adventure as Universal plans to install a new coaster. They are clearing the land behind the Discovery Center, tearing down the bridge between the Lost Continent and Jurassic Park, and they are also tearing down the former Triceratops Encounter attraction.

Popeye’s Closed for Refurbishment

Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge Rat Barges is closed for it’s annual refurbishment. Crews were seen repainting the outside of the attraction.
