Universal Studios Japan - New Night Parade Coming?

After one full year of taking guests over the top at Universal Studios Japan, the 15th Anniversary Reboooooooorn! Celebration has come to an end. The celebration consisted of special merchandise and theming around the park, a stage show, and Universal’s best parade they’ve ever created. In the photo below, you can see the Reboooooooorn theming coming down from the arch way.

Whats next? It is rumored that a NEW night parade will be coming to the park this summer to replace the Reboooooooorn Parade. This will be the parks second ever night parade, replacing the former Magical Starlight Parade. The park currently does not have a parade.

UPDATE (4/13/17)- Projectors are being installed around the parks parade route on rooftops… Possible projection mapping in the rumored night parade!?? That would be a first.

UPDATE (6/7/2017)- According to our source the nighttime parade that the park has been testing for with projection mapping has been delayed until 2018. Why so long? After the summer the park goes straight into Halloween Horror Nights and then Christmas, and during these times they usually do not run a night parade.

UPDATE (10/30/17)- Universal Studios Japan officially announces “Spectacle” night parade.

UPDATE (11/09/17)- Projection testing has been spotted for the Harry Potter portion of Spectacle!
