Trip Report- Tokyo Disneyland on Easter Day
|
We were lucky enough to spend a day at Tokyo Disneyland, one of the best Disney parks in the world! We started off our Easter morning bright and early, waiting in a massive line to get into the park.
The rope drop situation at TDL is different than in America. When the park opens it is complete chaos, everyone just runs!!
We headed straight to get Fast Passes for Monsters Inc, then went directly to Pooh’s Hunny Hunt. Unfortunately Pooh was closed when we walked up, but it ended up working out in our favor because after waiting around for about 30 minutes the ride opened and we were some of the first people to ride- with 0 wait! Pooh was awesome! It’s a great twist on a classic dark ride. It’s trackless and has some amazing special effects!
Next we went to checkout a long gone Orlando classic, Mickey’s ToonTown Fair!
I tried out a Pizza Spring Roll, it was really good!
We then took a look around Tomorrowland and grabbed Fast Passes for Space Mountain
We then stopped into the Pan Galactic Pizza Port, which has to be one of the COOLEST and most retro Disney restaurants every created!
We then used our Monsters Inc FP’s. This ride was cool. You ride through the dark and shine a flashlight at targets.
On our way to the Country Bear Jamboree we cut through World Bazaar and got a look at all of the 35th anniversary decorations.
One thing that I love about Tokyo Disneyland is that all of the walkways and roads are very wide. This makes crowd flow much better. Country Bears was similar to Orlando’s but in Japanese!
A look at the Rivers of America and Splash Mountain. We took a peaceful lap on the Mark Twain around the river.
Here’s a look at Fantasyland and guests lining up for Happiness is Here parade. Notice everyone is sitting nicely!
We then went on Space Mountain! It was AWESOME!!!
We then headed to Adventureland to check out the Stitch Tiki Room, it was actually very good!
We finished out our day at Tokyo Disneyland with Happiness is Here!
PEACE OUT TOKYO DISNEYLAND!
