Roaring Rapids at Shanghai Disneyland Closed Indefinitely

Whilst visiting Shanghai Disneyland, Park Pass has learned from cast members that the Roaring Rapids water ride is closed indefinitely. The attraction entrance is surrounded by a construction wall, and there are no cast members standing around the ride. Furthermore, the Shanghai Disneyland website states that the attraction is closed and currently has no planned reopening date.

Roaring Rapids is a river rapids ride in which riders go “through dark chasms, outrace a ferocious beast and churn through raging, roiling currents on a thrilling raft adventure!” The attraction opened in 2016.
