Top 4 Fourth Of July Firework Spots in Orlando
|The fourth of July is one of the biggest days each year in the United States, and there’s no better way to celebrate it then with some awesome fireworks! The theme parks in Orlando offer great displays, and below is a list of my top 4 favorite fourth of July firework shows! (photo from Disney Tourist Blog)
-The Magic Kingdom-
At the Magic Kingdom, “Celebrate America- A Fourth Of July Concert in The Sky” lights up the night skies at 9pm on July 3rd and 4th. The show is fantastic! A perimeter launch is used, which means fireworks are not only launched from behind the castle, but from 360 degrees around the castle! The show is not one to miss!
-Epcot-
Also at Walt Disney World, Epcot celebrates Independence Day with a big bang! After Illuminations: Reflections Of Earth, a 6 minute long pyrotechnic show celebrating the history of America lights up the skies above the World Showcase Lagoon. Although this show is not as big as the Magic Kingdom’s, it comes in second place in our top 4 fourth of July firework shows in Orlando.
-Sea World Orlando-
Moving away from Walt Disney World, Sea World Orlando puts on a spectacular firework show on the fourth of July. Along with the fireworks over the lake, they also offer a nighttime show in the whale stadium. At Sea World’s firework show, the fireworks feel more “in your face” because of how close they are from you when they’re launched.
-Disney’s Hollywood Studios-
At Hollywood Studios, the band Mulch Sweat and Shears takes the stage in front of the Chinese Theater as fireworks erupt behind them. They sing famous rock songs that are from different time periods in United States history. The show is around 13 minutes long, and includes great singing and some good fireworks!
